“It’s snowing still,” said Eeyore gloomily.
“So it is.”
“And freezing.”
“Is it?”
“Yes,” said Eeyore. “However,” he said, brightening up a little, “we haven’t had an earthquake lately.”

warm

Cowering under the warmth of a cozy blanket inside a toasty home is all the more wonderful after an excursion in the snow. Especially a long excursion of trudging over snow packed land, a steady climb up to overlook the beauty of the town. It doesn’t take much wind, and a drop in temperature before the fingers begin to lose feeling, the cheeks become increasingly pink. As the group hike came to an end on this beautiful clear Sunday afternoon, the snowing resumed.  Inside we curled up in warm blankets and woolen socks and drank hot milo.

  1. Glad you enjoyed it Christina – took Joe and self 3 hr 10 mins to do the whole distance. It was a lovely day and yes – nice to curl up on the couch afterwards!
